Shipping Information
All shipments are made via Canada Post. Canada Post delivers around the world. If you would prefer fedex, purolator or UPS, please use the contact us feature for further shipping information.
Shipping Methods
When placing an order we will ask for your shipping address. Once provided, you will then be given one or more shipping methods based that shipping address. The shipping methods provided are the standard methods provided by Canada Post. Some addresses may require you to contact us for further shipping rates. We have not yet entered them worldwide into our website.
Canada: 1. Regular (2+ days) 2. Xpresspost (2 days) 3. Priority (Next Day)
U.S.: 1. Small Packet USA Surface (6+ days) 2. Small Packet USA Air (4+ days)
International: 1. Small Parcel International Ground (4-6 weeks) 2. Small Packet International Air (6+ days)
Shipping Costs
The shipping cost vary by method and shipping destination. We use the Canada Post online shipping rate tool and estimated size and weight of the package for shipping estimates.
*Please note* - we have occasionally run into issues where the website fails to provide a shipping charge. We cannot send out any products without shipping charges. You will be notified as to what the shipping charges are and a paypal payment request will follow once you decide on shipping method.
Delivery Times
When choosing your method we will provide you with the estimated delivery time in business days (after order fulfillment) based on your method and shipping destination. The time it takes for you to receive your order varies based on the method you choose and the shipping address.
Order Fulfillment
Complete orders placed for in-stock merchandise will be fulfilled and shipped the same week. We do not fulfill or ship orders on weekends or holidays. If your order will experience delays for any reason relating to stock availability, a customer service representative will be in contact with you by e-mail.
Backorders
If an item ordered is out of stock then it may take up to 3 weeks before shipping. This gives us the time to make the items you have ordered. In the case of large or detailed orders, or during particularly high volume times, (ie May-July), additional time may be required. If for some reason the order cannot be filled within a reasonable time, a customer service representative will contact you via email to offer alternate product options or re-imbursement .
You may cancel backorders at any time by contacting us.
Shipment Confirmation E-mail & Tracking
On the day your order is shipped, when we create your shipping label, you will receive a confirmation e-mail showing the shipping method and destination.
Canada Post shipment tracking is available on most Canadian shipping methods. However, for U.S. orders, shipment tracking is only available for Expedited & Xpresspost shipping. If you would prefer these methods, please contact us for pricing. Canada Post does not provide a shipment tracking log for standard air mail shipping.
Absent shipping charges
There have been a few instances when our web-site has failed to charge shipping on an order. We believe this is fixed now. Please note that we cannot ship any orders without payment for shipping. If your order is mistakenly processed without shipping payment, you will be contacted regarding payment options before shipping will occur.
